We are looking for a switchboard operator who will be accountable and responsible for the achievement and delivery of the overall communication of the company. This individual will need to demonstrate commitment, loyalty and as an enthusiastic team member.
We are looking for a switchboard operator who will be accountable and responsible for the achievement and delivery of the overall communication of the company. This individual will need to demonstrate commitment, loyalty and as an enthusiastic team member.
Requirements:
Excel knowledge is compulsory
Excellent communication skills
Matric
1 – 2 years experience
Reception qualification will be advantageous
Well presentable
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Operating a switchboard
- Answering incoming and outgoing calls
- Taking messages for the staff
- Screening of calls
- Attending to visitors and clients
- Handling couriers – Incoming and outgoing
- Monitoring the system and ensuring that it is fully operational
- Following up on faults and queries and ensuring that they are resolved
- Reconciliations on garage cards
- Weekly telephone report for management as well
- Ensuring that the telephone list is updated and sent out to all employees
- Assisting with any admin required within the company
- Providing outstanding customer service internally and externally
- Assisting with bookings for conferences, meetings
- Maintaining a friendly and polite environment at reception
- Highest standard of appearance is expected at all times
Salary: R7000 to R8000 pm negotiable
