60 African or Coloured females with disabilities, who have a minimum of Grade 11, for learnerships in call centres or on computers with Bytes Technology, a computer company based in Midrand. The contract is for a 12 month period, and the initial training will be for 4 months. Thereafter the learners will be placed with various clients. The stipend is R3 500 per month. The company can regrettably not accommodate wheelchairs users (do not have adequate access) or those who are totally blind at this stage. They do have facilities for people with partial sight and partial hearing.
